Trials HD is a “motorcycle physics platformer”. In this arcade game, you will try to drive your motorcycle over the obstacles to get to the finish. This arcade game costs 1200 Microsoft Points. To start off, I love this game. Trials HD is my personal favorite Arcade game. This game resembles a lot of flash games I’ve played before, only this one has really good graphics, physics, and many more levels than any flash game.

 

The levels start off very easy, with the first tutorial level only requiring you hold in the throttle to win. But don’t underestimate the levels, and don’t assume they will all be easy. The levels on Trails HD are so unbelievably difficult at some points that you might want to throw your controller through your TV. The levels range from beginner, to easy, to medium, to hard, and then last, extreme. And believe me, it is extreme.

 

 

If you have a tendency to break your hardware when you get mad at games, I wouldn’t suggest buying this game; because this is a warning: you will get mad at this game. This is a really fun game. I love it, but at times I got very mad at it. I finally completed the game, even the extreme levels. It took probably thousands of attempts, thousands of failures, and multiple hours of play. But one reward you get from completing it (besides the 30G Achievement), is a Gamer Picture. And I’m so proud of myself that that is my new picture. But if you do complete the extreme levels, you deserve to have bragging rights because, believe me, it’s definitely not easy. I’ve had multiple friends just stop, because they couldn’t get any further.

 

 

The better you do on levels, the higher medal you will receive. The medals range from Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. This ranking system goes the same for “Skill Games” and the tournaments. Tournaments throw a series of the campaign levels at you to see how quickly and accurately you can complete them. The Skill Games are very fun, probably the most fun thing in the game. There are a total of 12 Skill Games, including: Inside The Ball, In Flames, Up The Hill, and more. They are very fun. You can also customize your bike.

 

 

Overall, Trials HD is a great game. I personally love the game. If you were thinking about buying it, I would recommend it. But be warned, this game will make you mad at some points. And it may seem impossible BUT IT’S NOT, just keep at it and you will have the Gamer Picture to show off.
