East India Company takes place, quite obviously, in East India. Your goal in this game is to make money, and be able to destroy any ship who tries to destroy you. You make money by exporting goods from your home port to other ports for a profit, and also by bringing in imports from other places.

 

 

The first thing you may notice is the music to this game. Personally I liked the music, it seemed to go well with the theme of the game and really wasn't bad at all.

 

The game itself can sometimes be pretty confusing to people, especially to new players, and even more so to people who are new at real time strategy games. This game would be almost impossible to learn without the tutorials.

 

 

The graphics in East India Company did not impress me at all. They were ok at times, peaking during cutscenes. The port views of the game were better than the look of the main view.

 

There's a big part in this game about knowing what ports pay the most for what, which will only come with experience. If you like games in which you strive to make money and be more powerful; you would most likely enjoy East India Company. There are many different imports and exports, definitely depending upon which country you choose to play as. Coal is one example of an import/export.

 

 

Overall, East India Company is an adequate game, in which you battle for money or power. There is no multiplayer in this game, which probably would've made it better. I would not recommend East India Company unless you really like complicated real time strategies.
