You begin the game playing as Alex Mason, a very confused man being questioned by two odd mystery men. You are being forced to relive your memories and play through them. From bay of pigs to Vietnam you will stay put in front of your screen for hours wanting to get to the next clue to what the hell is going on with this man that is a little messed up in the head. The campaign has some new weapons and new adventures for you to go on. Including some of your past favorite ones as well, such as repealing down cliffs and busting in windows and shooting up some scum bags, saving friends, them saving you and so on. So yea, maybe a little bit …okay quite a bit like the old game with a lot of things, BUT the new ones will change your feelings on it; for example, a few would be harpooning a helicopter, riding a motorcycle(not just riding actually controlling), and finally but most defiantly not the last is flying a helicopter. The online multiplayer is just as fun if not better thanks to all the customization you can do to yourself, weapons, perks, equipment and so on. You can truly feel like your are really putting your self into the game minus the bullets and wounds upon return. You use a credit system to buy all these new fancies for yourself and weapons. Remember once you spend those COD points they are gone, period, so make for damn sure your really want that what ever it may be you are buying. Treyarch also introduced a new contract system where you invest some points in hopes of completing cretin challenges set forth by it for a very beefy points reward. But don’t think they will come over easy to you, for your points must come with hard work. The new zombies mode is fun too, you can unlock a new zombie map just by beating the campaign and play as president Kennedy or Fidel Castrol just to mention a couple. It changed a little from the original zombies you will just have to play it to see. With all the new weapons and features I really did enjoy this game, and I am not the only one; on the launch day I checked how many where playing and this little number popped up…. Over 2 million were. So obviously this game has something going for it. I really didn’t run into that many annoyances. The game froze up on me once during the campaign, I didn’t have to restart it, it worked it out on its own. Also it truly still looks like a COD game and feels like one. So rather you are new to the COD games or a ol’dog you’ll really like the game and not be disappointed in Treyarch. |
