The next Guitar Hero, coming November 2008 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, is going to be featured in the next issue of Game Informer. Including a bass, microphone and drumset (with two cymbals), GH4 will be taking on a rock band theme. Due to the split between Activision and Gibson, Activision will now have to develop their own instruments. The changes aren’t over yet. GH4 will also include the ability to create their own songs and share them with other players online with the brand new Guitar Hero Tunes service. Unfortunately you won’t be able to record vocals for your songs, but the customization is so far advanced that you’ll even be able to create your own musicians, instruments and album art. The official music track for GH4 hasn’t been released yet, but some included bands will be Van Halen, Linkin Park, and the Eagles, and all songs will be master tracks. Lastly, there is one currently unrevealed feature that will "directly impact the way you play Guitar Hero in the future."
